Angela having 'served her time' in a support role, for a little over a year, has recently been appointed by the Board as the operational Manager to the Foundation part-time team of three. ( Angela, Mike & Gae with volunteer input from treasurer Christine )

Angela has lived in the Bay of Plenty for most of her life, originally in Rotorua and moved to Whakatane with her young family 18 years ago. 

Angela has a background in health and advocacy, and comes with a wealth of community experience, as a trustee of the Eastern Bay of Plenty PHA ( Primary Health Alliance) . 

Angela is married to Martin and they have two amazing daughters, Emma and Greta, both at secondary school. 

In her spare time,  Angela enjoys crafty projects, watching Korean movies, dreaming about holidays in tropical places and supporting her Mum Liz, a resident of Ohope. 

Angela is available Monday to Thursday and is responsible for the overall operations of the Foundation.  This includes the transactional activities (receipting donations, reporting annually to donors, marketing activities), as well as  receiving the applications for grants and scholarships and liasing with the Trustee committees.
